How do you ship your paintings?
My paintings are very carefully packaged so that almost nothing touches the surface, and no jostling, tossing, pounding, etc. by usps employees (gotta love those guys) will damage the painting.  I insure each painting and ship it in a Priority Mail box that generally takes 2-3 days to reach the buyer. Here are some photos of my process:

Can I save on shipping by having you ship more than one painting in a box?
Absolutely! I can ship up to 4 paintings in one box.

How long after I purchase a painting do you ship it?
I ship one to 3 days after you pay.

I really like this painting – will you end the auction for me?
I can’t do that for 2 reasons: 1. it’s not fair to other bidders/watchers, and 2. ebay doesn’t like it/will kick me off. : )

Are your paintings varnished?
No. The medium I use leaves a bit of sheen on the finished painting. Feel free to varnish your painting after a couple of weeks with any commercial OIL varnish. Please ask me if you have any questions.

How do you figure the charge for shipping?
Shipping includes the USPS Priority Mail charge, insurance for the full amount of your painting, and a $4 handling fee. This fee covers the cost of shipping materials (peanuts, bubble wrap, cardboard, tape, paper, etc.) and the time it takes me to package up and ship each painting (~25 minutes).

Do you do commissions?
Yes, but I won't do the same painting over again. Please inquire if you are interested.

What does it cost to ship overseas?
The cost of this seems to be changing especially recently with the shifting economy. It can cost anywhere from $15-$35 depending on your location and current USPS rates.
